I grew up in Los Angeles and moved to San Luis Obispo County in the late 1980s. I have three grown children and a granddaughter who is four. My fiance and I live in Paso Robles at our little family compound.
As a teenager, I did research for a real estate investor. I have worked in real estate–in one form or another–for the last 18 years. My career in real estate has been my most interesting job because of the challenge and the opportunity to meet so many people.
If I did not work in real estate, I would love to be a chef. I love to cook for my family and friends. I enjoy how quiet they get when they are really enjoying something and enjoy even more the conversations we have after we are done. We try to sit down as a family and eat a few times a week, at least. It keeps us connected.
I also enjoy traveling, reading, going to the beach, visiting art museums and galleries, wine tasting, and working on home improvement projects. I once went on an 18-day adventure in Italy with no actual plans. My hope is to one day travel all over the world.
This is my life motto: Compliment people wherever you go. Be a ray of sunshine everywhere, and make their day better for having seen you.
