I grew up in Ojai, a small town where business owners relate to customers on a first-name basis and community members rally behind one another.  I later chose to live on the Central Coast because it offers the same small-town feeling. A former school teacher, I retired from my career in education and bring many helpful insights to my second career in real estate.

I enjoy living in this beautiful area, staying active outdoors, and spending quality time with friends and family. Both of my children are now grown, and they, too, have chosen to make the Central Coast their home.

Aside from running, walking, and cycling local trails, I enjoy other outdoor adventures as well. Three summers ago I competed in the Na Pali Challenge outrigger race, a 36-mile paddle relay.  My 12-member team of paddlers from all over came together in Kauai to train and compete together.

If I didn’t work in real estate, I would most likely be working in a local wine-tasting room. I enjoy meeting new people and am passionate about the quality of our local wines.

I love to travel, explore new locations, meet new friends, and try new cuisines. Someday I would love to go on a photo safari to Africa. I would also like to revisit Cinque Terre in the summertime because of its fabulous hiking trails and amazing local cuisine.

My father is my hero. He taught me by example the virtues of hard work and honesty. Because of this my life motto is “speak the truth in kindness.”
