I am a broker with years of experience assisting clients with successful sales and purchases of urban and rural properties.

I worked for ten years selling homes and condos in the Berkeley/Oakland area. I am familiar with ordinances, easements, and setbacks. I have worked with contractors, planning departments, and navigated building codes. As president of an HOA board, I oversaw a seven-million-dollar annual budget, so am good at analyzing reserve studies, evaluating management firms and assessing viability of PUDs and HOAs. I am a trained negotiator with successful transactions involving public and private entities.

I have a dozen years’ experience selling rural properties and managing a sole proprietor country brokerage. I understand problems related to septic systems, leach lines, wells and water testing, and how to solve those problems. Country properties present unusual challenges related to natural hazards, utilities and services. As a former volunteer firefighter, I know ways to protect country assets. I have dealt with attorneys regarding easement disputes and surveyors regarding boundary locations. I have worked with private water associations and dealt with complex land management issues.

The central coast has an interesting mix of both urban and rural properties. With a background working in both, I am well-suited to practice real estate here.
