Ruben Canales, Jr.

Before becoming involved in real estate, I worked for 30 years in education. As a school principal I had the opportunity to create a positive and nurturing environment where children could grow intellectually, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. My wife of 31 years, Monica, is a Special Education teacher with the Paso Robles Unified School District.  Together, we have three grown children. Alicia is a college graduate and recently married. Micah, is a second year college student. Kristina just graduated high school and will begin her first year of college in the fall. I consider my children to be my life’s greatest achievement.

My hobbies and interests outside work involve my family.  Together, we enjoy traveling, fine dining, sports, a good movie, video games–just being together.

The beach is my happy place. I also like to play golf. Someday I would like to visit all seven continents and travel across the U.S. to the East Coast…where U.S. history began.
