I am retired from a 36-year military career in which I earned dozens of awards. I once held a position as Moral Welfare and Recreation Manager at Camp Roberts. My job was to entertain soldiers while they were training to go to war. After I left the military, I completed my Bachelor of Science and Masters degrees in business. Since that time, I have worked in real estate for three years.
I learned from my father that I can do anything, so his encouragement helped me to accomplish much over the years. I even served as a fire fighter, which is very difficult and dangerous work. My motto is to complete everything I start, and do it the best that I can.
One of the craziest things I have done is moving to California from Long Island, New York–right out of high school. I have stayed here ever since. I have lived in the North County of San Luis Obispo for 45 years. My wife, Robin, and I have been married for 40 years, and we have two grown children and four grandchildren.
I enjoy fishing and completing home projects in my workshop. I would love to travel the entire country–especially a trip through Canada to Alaska–to explore and fish.
