I have been living and working on the Central Coast for 14 years. Prior to my 8 years of experience in the real estate industry, I worked for Cal Poly State University, as well as the Point San Luis Lighthouse Keepers. In the years before moving to the Central Coast, I graduated with honors from the College of William and Mary in Virginia and studied at San Diego State University, where I received a Master of Science in Mass Communications. It was a challenge to attend graduate classes at SDSU while working full time at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) as a Sr. Marketing Account Executive, but I persevered and received my Masters Degree in 2002.
My life on the Central Coast is typical of the people who live here. I eat great from shopping at the farmer’s market, and I enjoy spending time with family and friends at my home in Morro Bay. I also spend time outdoors surfing, hiking, and biking with my family. I have a passion for clean air, and have spent many hours volunteering for the Biodiesel Club, a local nonprofit devoted to eradicating air pollution. My main goal in life is to eliminate to use of petro-diesel as a fuel and completely replacing it with a clean burning fuel or electric power.
Because of my studies in communications, I have a great understanding of social media. From MLS to Zillow to Facebook, to YouTube and Twitter, I understand the in’s and out’s of social media. In addition to new media, I am an expert in designing traditional marketing campaigns that take full advantage of all the media outlet opportunities available.
Not only do sellers benefit from my expertise, but so do buyers. The buyers who have worked with me were impressed with my work ethic and attention to detail. Many of these clients have high praises for my full management of their transactions from offer to close. In addition, I work for my buyers by staying on top of newly marketed listings and unlisted opportunities that come up through the grapevine. When that special home comes up for sale, I ensure that my clients find out about it right away, and I stand ready to make an offer immediately.
