David McNamara

Hey! My name is David and I have been a real estate broker for more than 20 years. I am also the President of the Association of Realtors in Atascadero. When I’m not in real estate, I’m an electrician, a professional trumpet player,  former music store owner, race-car driver, scuba diver, and a reserve firefighter.

By far, being a real estate broker has been my most interesting job. I have met incredible people from every walk of life. I also rate being a musician and playing in front of a large audience right up there, too.

I married my high school sweetheart, and together we have two grown children with families of their own and one granddaughter who we love to spoil. We live on our family ranch in Templeton, enjoying a rural lifestyle for the past 40 years. My favorite activities are spending time with my family and dogs, cooking, eating, traveling, and making music with friends and family.

When I was younger, I worked with my father in construction and would choose that field or sales if I wasn’t in real estate. MY hero is Nicola Tesla. He invented so many electrical things that we take for granted,. He is just now being recognized for his contributions to our modern-day lifestyle.
